Hello Church Family,
Here are the important announcements of events that will take place in our church in the following days:
Hispanic Evangelism Starts on Sabbath, October 14th: We are partnering with Placentia’s Esperanza SDA Church to have a week of evening meetings from October 14th to 21st. The Sabbath evenings will begin at 5:00 pm, with other nights beginning at 7:00 pm. We’ll be providing music, food, child care, and prizes, so if you or someone you know speaks Spanish, come out for this exciting and reviving series.
“Discovering Revelation” Series @ the Orange SDA Church: Our sister church has begun a six-week event, taking a deep dive into the Book of Revelation. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 7:00 pm, you can enjoy this series and be blessed.
Mid-Week Prayer & Study Groups: Each week, we have a few groups who get together to pray and discuss. Come and enjoy Christian fellowship in an intimate small group setting:
English: Weds @ 6:00 pm on Zoom, discussing Prophets and Kings Ch8- Mtg ID# 705 395 5673
Spanish: Cada Miercoles @ 7:00 pm en el Fellowship Hall
Young Adults: Fridays 7:00 pm, studying the book “Ministry of Healing”- Hybrid in Room #304 or Zoom: Mtg ID# 849 172 6095 (it will not take place on Friday, 10/06)
Sabbath Afternoon Creative Bible Art Class, next Sabbath: Join us for Dr. Maria’s Bible Art Class next Sabbath Afternoon. Discover the beauty of combining faith and creativity. This class welcomes all skill levels! We plan to begin at 2:30 pm in the fellowship hall. It is recommended to bring a lunch to eat in the courtyard between church and seminar time. Tables, chairs (and shade!) will be available there. Please see JoAnne Lightford for additional details.
Sociedad de Jovenes @ 5:00 pm: Our bilingual closing of the Sabbath program will occur in our fellowship hall this evening. We have a program planned that will be both fun and enlightening!
Family Photos Pathfinder Fundraiser, Next Sunday October 15th: Join us next Sunday afternoon for a memorable day at Yorba Linda Regional Park. This event is not just about creating cherished moments but also supporting the pathfinders for the 2024 International Camporee. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to get your new Directory photo. For more information, please see Margarito Gonzales.
Offering/Online Giving: Please continue to remember our church’s financial needs in your giving plans. You can give your tithes and offerings at the end of service. Deacons will have the offering plates available. We need to collect about $2,500 weekly in local church offerings to make the church budget – your tithes and offerings are most appreciated during this time. If you prefer, you can do it online through Adventist Giving, which has both a phone app and a website: www.adventistgiving.org
